How do you create something like this?

well, if you look back about 7 posts ago, I posted a photo called ‘The Visitor’… I then added a texture to it, a photo I took of some bread, and created the next iteration, which was fairly subtle, I then made a more extreme version, I then really played with blend modes (this is all in gorgeous Photoshop), rotated the image 90 degrees counterclockwise, duplicated that image and flipped it horizontally to create a mirrored image, then did lots of stuff to that to create ‘Lost In Time’, I then took the central object from that, turned it into a spaceship… you get the picture, just constant reworking/re-manipulating. This is something I do, it’s not what the wizkids do in photoshop, I’ve actually never seen anything like it… I’ve been doing it for years. Does that help?

It does! This is very different from anything that I have ever seen. I’m not good with using Photoshop, but admire the work of those that are.

Thanks. I’d add that for this image and the next one I am basically using the clone stamp, set to zero hardness, as a brush.
