  3. How do you create something like this?

    • well, if you look back about 7 posts ago, I posted a photo called ‘The Visitor’… I then added a texture to it, a photo I took of some bread, and created the next iteration, which was fairly subtle, I then made a more extreme version, I then really played with blend modes (this is all in gorgeous Photoshop), rotated the image 90 degrees counterclockwise, duplicated that image and flipped it horizontally to create a mirrored image, then did lots of stuff to that to create ‘Lost In Time’, I then took the central object from that, turned it into a spaceship… you get the picture, just constant reworking/re-manipulating. This is something I do, it’s not what the wizkids do in photoshop, I’ve actually never seen anything like it… I’ve been doing it for years. Does that help?

      • It does! This is very different from anything that I have ever seen. I’m not good with using Photoshop, but admire the work of those that are.

      • Thanks. I’d add that for this image and the next one I am basically using the clone stamp, set to zero hardness, as a brush.
