The Countess Creaturina 4 Colour Silkscreen

Well, here she is, hot off the printing table… my first ever 4 colour silkscreen (and only the second time I’ve actually done screen printing). Technically she’s a total f@#kup due to problems with creating the separations and my lack of knowledge about separations; I’d made them so each layer butted into the next, but you are actually supposed to make each layer slightly overlap… sure, I know that now! Also, one of them, the first one, simply did not line up with the other 3. But, I’m really pleased with the type, and, as is the way with screen prints, even though shes totally out of registration, she still looks ok!

I hope to fix the dud layer and do another run of better prints soon.

  1. Love it! Even though they’re not entirely as you envisioned them to be they are still awesome. I would happily buy one off you if you’re selling any of them. n_n Good job. Are you going to do a 7 colour silk screen next? ^.^
